Domain Registration Terms
For Consumers and business customers, including SMEs
Last updated: 16 July 2026
Important informationThese Domain Terms apply to Consumers and business customers, including SMEs. A domain is registered under rules imposed by the relevant Registry. For .UK domains, the Registrant also contracts directly with Nominet. Renewal and expiry arrangements are governed by the separate Domain Renewal, Expiry and Cancellation Policy. Consumer cancellation rights are addressed in clause 12 and Schedule 2.
1. Scope and status of these Terms
1.1 These Domain Registration Terms (Domain Terms) apply whenever F13 Limited accepts an order to register, renew, transfer, restore, manage or otherwise administer a domain name for you.
1.2 They apply to Consumers and Business Customers, including small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). A Consumer is an individual acting wholly or mainly outside that individual’s trade, business, craft or profession. An SME remains a Business Customer and does not obtain Consumer status merely because it is small.
1.3 These Domain Terms supplement the F13 Consumer and SME Terms and Conditions or any other general terms expressly incorporated into your Order. They also incorporate the applicable Registry Rules, our Domain Renewal, Expiry and Cancellation Policy, Domain Pricing and Charges, Acceptable Use and Abuse Policy, Privacy Notice and Complaints Procedure.
1.4 If documents conflict, the following order of priority applies: (a) mandatory law or a binding requirement of the relevant Registry, sponsoring registrar, ICANN, Nominet, court or competent authority; (b) the Order; (c) these Domain Terms; (d) the applicable general F13 terms; and (e) other incorporated policies.
1.5 Nothing in these Domain Terms excludes or restricts a Consumer’s statutory rights or any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
2. Who we are and how to contact us
2.1 F13 Limited is a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 17045453. Our business and correspondence address is Unit 1, Whittington Moor Business Park, Sheffield Road, Chesterfield, S41 8LF.
2.2 F13 Limited is a Nominet member and .UK registrar. For some other top-level domains, we may provide the service through an ICANN-accredited registrar, registry operator or other authorised supplier.
2.3 You can contact us by telephone on +44 (0)114 361 0113, by email at office@f13.co.uk, through our customer portal, or using the details published at https://f13.co.uk/contact/.
2.4 Abuse reports should be sent to abuse@f13.co.uk or submitted through the reporting method published on our website.
3. Definitions
3.1 Agreement means the contract between you and F13 for the Domain Services, comprising the documents listed in clause 1.3.
3.2 Business Customer means a person or organisation acting wholly or mainly for purposes relating to a trade, business, craft or profession.
3.3 Consumer means an individual acting wholly or mainly for purposes outside that individual’s trade, business, craft or profession.
3.4 Domain means the domain name identified in an Order.
3.5 Domain Services means registration, renewal, transfer, restoration, portfolio management, nameserver, DNS or related domain administration services supplied by us.
3.6 Order means an online order, quotation, proposal, order form, renewal instruction, transfer request or other request for Domain Services accepted by us.
3.7 Registrant means the person or organisation recorded, or to be recorded, by the Registry as responsible for the Domain.
3.8 Registration Data means the name, organisation, postal address, email address, telephone number and other information required in connection with a Domain or Registrant.
3.9 Registry means the organisation responsible for operating the relevant top-level domain or domain namespace.
3.10 Registry Rules means all current terms, policies, procedures, technical requirements and dispute-resolution rules of a Registry, sponsoring registrar, ICANN, Nominet or other authority applying to a Domain.
3.11 Supplier means a Registry, sponsoring registrar, reseller platform, escrow provider, DNS provider or other third party used to provide Domain Services.
4. The parties and registry contracts
4.1 Your Agreement with F13 is separate from any contract created directly between you and the relevant Registry or sponsoring registrar.
4.2 For a .UK Domain, F13 acts as your registrar and agent in dealings with Nominet. By asking us to register, renew, transfer or manage a .UK Domain, the Registrant also enters into and agrees to comply with Nominet’s current Terms and Conditions of Domain Name Registration, Rules of Registration, Dispute Resolution Service Policy and other applicable .UK policies.
4.3 For a generic top-level domain such as .com, .net or .org, F13 may act as a reseller of an ICANN-accredited registrar. The sponsoring registrar is identified in the applicable registration data and its mandatory registration terms and applicable ICANN consensus policies form part of the Registry Rules.
4.4 For country-code and specialist top-level domains, the relevant Registry may impose eligibility, presence, documentary, local-agent, usage or other requirements. You agree to comply with them.
4.5 A Registry or sponsoring registrar may amend its rules, fees or processes. Those mandatory changes apply to the Domain when they take effect, even if they occur during a registration period.
5. Orders and formation of the Agreement
5.1 A domain availability search, quotation or displayed search result is not an offer or guarantee that a Domain can be registered. It is an invitation for you to place an Order.
5.2 Your Order is an offer to purchase the Domain Services. We may accept or reject it. The Agreement is formed when we confirm acceptance, submit the requested transaction to the relevant Supplier, or begin the Domain Services at your express request, whichever occurs first.
5.3 We may decline an Order where the Domain is unavailable, reserved, restricted, prohibited, subject to a rights-protection process, technically invalid, suspected of abuse or fraud, or where required information, verification or payment has not been provided.
5.4 Where an Order contains an obvious pricing, typographical or technical error, we may reject or correct it before completing the transaction. If we have already taken payment and cannot fulfil the Order, we will refund the amount paid for the unprovided service.
5.5 You should not advertise, print, configure, trade under or otherwise rely upon a Domain until we confirm that the relevant Registry or sponsoring registrar has completed the registration or transfer.
6. Availability and nature of a Domain
6.1 Domain registrations are normally allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to Registry Rules. A Domain shown as available can be registered by someone else before our transaction completes.
6.2 We do not guarantee that a requested Domain will be registered, renewed, transferred, restored, delegated or continuously available.
6.3 A domain registration gives the Registrant a contractual right to use the Domain for the registration period, subject to payment and compliance with the Registry Rules. It does not necessarily create ownership of property in the Domain.
6.4 Registration does not establish that the Domain or its use is lawful or does not infringe another person’s rights.
7. Authority and Registrant identity
7.1 The person placing an Order confirms that they are the Registrant or have full authority to act for and bind the Registrant.
7.2 Where you order for another person or organisation, you must ensure before ordering that the Registrant has received and accepted these Domain Terms, the applicable general F13 terms and all Registry Rules that must be accepted.
7.3 The Registrant must be correctly identified. You must not use a trading name, employee, web designer, reseller, hosting provider or other third party as the Registrant unless that person or organisation is genuinely intended and legally entitled to be the Registrant.
7.4 We may request proof of identity, authority, address, business status, eligibility, consent or rights in a name before or after a transaction. We may delay, reject, lock or suspend an affected transaction or Domain while reasonable verification is completed.
7.5 If a Registrant is a company or other legal entity that is dissolved, struck off or ceases to exist, the Registry may suspend, cancel or reassign the Domain in accordance with Registry Rules.
8. Registration Data and customer responsibilities
8.1 You must provide complete, accurate and current Registration Data and promptly correct it whenever it changes.
8.2 The Registrant must maintain a reliable email address that is monitored regularly. Notices sent to the current contact details may be treated as received in accordance with the Agreement and applicable Registry Rules.
8.3 You must respond promptly to reasonable data-verification requests from us, a Registry or sponsoring registrar. Failure to respond or the provision of false, incomplete, unreliable or outdated information may result in rejection, suspension, lock, cancellation or loss of the Domain.
8.4 If you provide another person’s personal data, you confirm that you have lawful authority to do so and have given them any privacy information required by law.
8.5 You are responsible for reviewing the Order confirmation and registration record and telling us promptly about any error. We will correct errors where reasonably possible, but some Registry transactions may be irreversible or chargeable.
8.6 You must keep your F13 account, email account, authentication methods, passwords, transfer credentials and recovery information secure. You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
9. Your promises about the Domain
9.1 By ordering or using a Domain, you confirm that: (a) you are entitled to do so; (b) the information supplied is accurate; (c) the registration and intended use are lawful; (d) you will comply with the Registry Rules and our Acceptable Use and Abuse Policy; and (e) you will not knowingly infringe another person’s trade mark, name, copyright, privacy or other rights.
9.2 You must not register or use a Domain for fraud, impersonation, phishing, malware, spam, unlawful content, abusive conduct, interference with the Domain Name System or any other unlawful or harmful purpose.
9.3 You are responsible for assessing whether a proposed Domain conflicts with another person’s rights. We do not conduct trade mark, company-name, passing-off or other legal clearance searches unless expressly agreed in writing.
9.4 A Consumer is responsible only to the extent permitted by law. A Business Customer must reimburse us for reasonable losses, claims and costs arising directly from a third-party claim caused by that customer’s material breach of clauses 7 to 9, except to the extent caused by our breach, negligence or failure to mitigate.
10. Registration periods and confirmation
10.1 The registration or renewal period will be shown in the Order and is subject to any maximum or minimum period permitted by the Registry.
10.2 A successful payment or Order acknowledgement does not by itself confirm registration. Registration is confirmed only when the relevant transaction has been accepted by the Registry or sponsoring registrar and we issue confirmation or the registration record is updated.
10.3 The Registry may calculate commencement and expiry dates using its own rules, time zone and grace periods. The date shown in the authoritative registration data will prevail where required by the Registry Rules.
10.4 Registry processing, validation, rights-protection procedures, premium-name checks and manual review can delay completion.
11. Prices, taxes and payment
11.1 Registration, renewal, transfer, restoration, premium-name, privacy, local-presence, DNS and other charges are those displayed or quoted before the transaction. Consumer prices include VAT where VAT is chargeable unless clearly stated otherwise; Business Customer prices exclude VAT unless clearly stated otherwise.
11.2 Our current registration, renewal and maintenance charges, and any ongoing or additional charges, will be made reasonably available on our website or in the Order. A link to the applicable pricing information forms part of these Domain Terms.
11.3 Registration and renewal prices may differ. Registry, sponsoring-registrar, exchange-rate, tax or supplier price changes may alter future charges. We will disclose the applicable price before a new purchase and give any advance notice required for an agreed automatic renewal.
11.4 Domain transactions may require payment in advance. We do not have to submit or complete a transaction until cleared payment and all required information have been received.
11.5 A Registry or Supplier fee may be non-refundable once the transaction is submitted. This does not exclude a Consumer’s statutory rights or our obligation to refund amounts where the service has not been supplied or the law requires a refund.
11.6 For a Business Customer, overdue amounts may attract interest and recovery costs under the applicable F13 general terms. Consumer late-payment charges, if any, will be reasonable, proportionate and disclosed as required by law.
12. Consumer cancellation rights
12.1 A Consumer who enters into a distance or off-premises contract will normally have 14 days after the Agreement is made to cancel a service contract without giving a reason, subject to the statutory rules and exceptions.
12.2 Because domain transactions are time-sensitive, we may ask a Consumer to expressly request that we begin the Domain Services during the cancellation period. If the Consumer then cancels after performance has begun, we may charge a proportionate amount for services supplied up to cancellation, including unavoidable Registry or Supplier costs where the law permits.
12.3 Where the Domain Services have been fully performed during the cancellation period, the cancellation right will end only if the Consumer expressly requested immediate performance and acknowledged before performance that the right would be lost once the service was fully performed.
12.4 Cancelling the F13 service does not necessarily reverse a completed Registry transaction. A registered Domain may remain registered until it is cancelled, transferred or expires in accordance with Registry Rules.
12.5 Nothing in this clause affects rights where we have breached the Agreement or supplied a service without reasonable care and skill.
13. Renewal and automatic renewal
13.1 A Domain does not remain registered indefinitely. It must be renewed before or in accordance with its expiry process.
13.2 The renewal basis, renewal price, reminder process, auto-renewal setting, payment requirements and treatment after expiry are explained in the Order and our current Domain Renewal, Expiry and Cancellation Policy.
13.3 We will send the expiry and renewal notices required by applicable law and Registry Rules to the current contact details. You remain responsible for tracking your Domains and ensuring that contact and payment details are current.
13.4 Where automatic renewal is selected or agreed, we may attempt to take payment and renew before expiry. An unsuccessful payment attempt does not guarantee further attempts and does not transfer responsibility for renewal to us.
13.5 You may switch off automatic renewal through available account controls or by contacting us. Switching it off prevents the next automatic renewal but does not cancel the current registration period or automatically delete the Domain.
13.6 We are not required to renew a Domain without the Registrant’s instruction or agreed auto-renewal authority, cleared payment, accurate Registration Data and compliance with the Registry Rules.
14. Expiry, suspension, redemption and deletion
14.1 If a Domain is not renewed, it may expire and stop resolving for websites, email, DNS and other services. Messages and data may be lost, and third parties may eventually be able to register the Domain.
14.2 Registries apply different post-expiry, grace, redemption, restoration and deletion processes. The current process and any additional charges are described in our Domain Renewal, Expiry and Cancellation Policy and the applicable Registry Rules.
14.3 We will permit renewal or restoration for as long as required by the applicable Registry Rules, subject to payment, verification and technical availability.
14.4 A restoration or redemption fee may apply where disclosed and permitted. A Registry may impose its own non-refundable restoration charge.
14.5 Once a Domain has been finally deleted or re-registered by another person, recovery may be impossible. We do not guarantee successful restoration.
14.6 We will not transfer an expired .UK Domain into our own name unless this is permitted by Nominet’s then-current rules and the Registrant has given any explicit consent those rules require. We will not use an expiry process to deprive the former Registrant of a renewal right preserved by Registry Rules.
15. Transfers between registrars
15.1 You may request a lawful transfer of a Domain to or from another registrar, subject to identity and authority checks, Registry Rules, dispute restrictions, security controls and any applicable minimum periods.
15.2 The transfer method may involve a registrar-tag change, authorisation code, Transfer Authorisation Code, AuthInfo code, account approval, email confirmation or another current Registry process.
15.3 We will not improperly prevent a transfer. We may refuse or delay it where required or permitted by Registry Rules, including suspected fraud, a dispute, court order, regulatory instruction, transfer lock, unpaid amount specifically relating to the requested transaction, or inability to authenticate the request.
15.4 For .UK Domains, we will follow Nominet’s current inter-registrar transfer process. Where a transfer code or removal of a registrar-set lock is required, we will provide or remove it within the time and on the charging basis required by the then-current policy.
15.5 For ICANN-governed generic top-level domains, transfers may be restricted for periods following initial registration, a previous transfer or a change of Registrant, and may require the Domain to be unlocked and an authorisation code to be provided.
15.6 A transfer may include or require renewal depending on the Registry, the Domain’s status and the Order. Transfer charges and any included renewal period will be disclosed before the transaction.
15.7 You are responsible for arranging continuity of DNS, hosting, email and other services when transferring. A registrar transfer does not automatically transfer those other services.
16. Change of Registrant
16.1 A request to change the Registrant must follow our security process and the applicable Registry Rules.
16.2 The existing and proposed Registrant may be required to verify identity, authority and consent, accept the current registration agreement and pay a disclosed charge.
16.3 A change is not effective until accepted and recorded by the relevant Registry or sponsoring registrar.
16.4 A Registry or ICANN policy may impose a transfer lock after a change of Registrant unless an available and lawful opt-out was completed before the change.
16.5 A purported sale, assignment, trust, licence or other arrangement does not change the Registrant record unless the required Registry process is completed.
17. Cancellation and deletion by the Registrant
17.1 The Registrant may ask us to cancel or delete a Domain, subject to identity checks, Registry Rules and any lock, dispute or legal restriction.
17.2 Cancellation may be irreversible. It can cause immediate or later loss of websites, email, DNS, security certificates and other dependent services, and the Domain may become available to someone else.
17.3 We may require clear written confirmation and may impose a short security delay before submitting a deletion request.
17.4 No refund is due merely because the Registrant voluntarily cancels a completed registration, except where the Order, Registry Rules or applicable law provides otherwise.
18. Suspension, locks, alteration and cancellation
18.1 We, the Registry or sponsoring registrar may reject, suspend, lock, redirect, alter, transfer, prevent renewal of, or cancel a Domain where required or permitted by the Registry Rules, the Agreement, a court order, dispute process, regulator, law-enforcement request or other lawful authority.
18.2 Action may be taken where Registration Data is inaccurate or unverifiable; payment is overdue; the Domain is used or likely to be used unlawfully or abusively; security or the Domain Name System is threatened; third-party rights are infringed; or the Registrant materially breaches the Agreement.
18.3 Except where urgent action is reasonably necessary or notice is prohibited, we will try to give appropriate notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy a remediable issue.
18.4 A suspension or lock may stop the Domain, website, email or DNS from working while leaving the registration record in place.
18.5 Charges may continue during a suspension caused by the Registrant’s breach or non-payment, subject to a Consumer’s statutory rights and any contrary Registry Rule.
19. DNS, nameservers and DNSSEC
19.1 Registration of a Domain is separate from hosting, email and DNS services. A Domain will not necessarily operate until valid nameservers and DNS records are configured.
19.2 DNS changes can take time to propagate and may be cached by third parties. We do not guarantee immediate worldwide visibility of a change.
19.3 Where you control nameservers or DNS records, you are responsible for their accuracy, security, continuity and compatibility. Incorrect changes can interrupt websites, email and other services.
19.4 DNSSEC can improve authenticity but incorrect keys or records can make a Domain unreachable. We may remove or replace DNSSEC data where reasonably necessary to complete a transfer, correct a fault or protect service continuity, subject to the Order and Registry Rules.
20. Privacy and registration data publication
20.1 We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Notice and applicable data-protection law.
20.2 We may disclose Registration Data to the relevant Registry, sponsoring registrar, ICANN, Nominet, escrow provider, verification provider, reseller platform, dispute-resolution provider and other participants where necessary to provide the Domain Services, meet Registry Rules or comply with law.
20.3 Some registration data may be published or made available through WHOIS, RDAP or another Registration Data Directory Service in accordance with applicable law, Registry policy, consent and legitimate-access processes.
20.4 A privacy or proxy service is available only where expressly offered and permitted by the Registry Rules. It does not remove the need to provide accurate underlying Registration Data or prevent lawful disclosure.
20.5 Domain records and transaction data may be retained after termination where required for legal, security, dispute, audit, escrow or Registry purposes.
21. Domain disputes and third-party claims
21.1 You agree to be bound by every dispute-resolution policy applicable to the Domain.
21.2 For .UK Domains, this includes Nominet’s Dispute Resolution Service (DRS) Policy. From 7 July 2026, new .UK DRS complaints are administered by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) on Nominet’s behalf, while Nominet retains the policy and overall direction of the DRS.
21.3 For many ICANN-governed generic top-level domains, this includes the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) and, where applicable, the Uniform Rapid Suspension System and Registry-specific dispute policies.
21.4 We may lock, maintain, transfer, cancel or otherwise deal with a Domain as directed by a Registry, sponsoring registrar, dispute-resolution provider, court or competent authority.
21.5 We are not a party to a dispute solely because we provide Domain Services. Unless required by law or the applicable policy, we are not obliged to decide who has better rights to a Domain.
22. Resellers and downstream customers
22.1 A Business Customer that resells or manages Domain Services for another person remains responsible to us for compliance with the Agreement.
22.2 Before placing an Order, the reseller must make the Registrant aware of and bind the Registrant to these Domain Terms, the applicable F13 terms, Registry Rules, pricing, renewal and expiry policy, privacy information and complaints process.
22.3 A reseller must provide accurate Registrant data, must not present itself as an ICANN-accredited registrar or Nominet registrar unless it independently holds that status, and must co-operate promptly with verification, transfer, renewal, abuse and complaint requirements.
22.4 We may contact the Registrant directly where required by law or Registry Rules, or where reasonably necessary to protect the Domain, verify authority or resolve a complaint.
23. Service standards and matters outside our control
23.1 We will provide the Domain Services with reasonable care and skill.
23.2 Registry systems, sponsoring registrars, DNS infrastructure, verification providers and internet services are outside our sole control. Transactions may be delayed, rejected, reversed or unavailable.
23.3 We do not guarantee that a Domain will be suitable for a particular purpose, generate traffic, rank in search results, be free from challenge, or remain available after expiry or deletion.
23.4 You should maintain independent records of important Domains, expiry dates, Registration Data, DNS settings and transfer credentials, and use suitable account security.
24. Liability to Consumers
24.1 We are responsible for loss or damage a Consumer suffers that is a foreseeable result of our breach of the Agreement or failure to use reasonable care and skill.
24.2 We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or breach of statutory rights.
24.3 We are not responsible for business losses suffered by a Consumer who uses a Domain for commercial purposes, including loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity or goodwill, except where the law provides otherwise.
24.4 We are not responsible for loss caused by inaccurate instructions or Registration Data, failure to maintain contact or payment details, unauthorised account access not caused by us, or a Registry or Supplier action outside our reasonable control, except to the extent the law makes us responsible.
25. Liability to Business Customers and SMEs
25.1 Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, deliberate default, or liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
25.2 Subject to clause 25.1, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, or loss of profit, revenue, anticipated savings, business, opportunity, goodwill or reputation.
25.3 Subject to clause 25.1, our total aggregate liability arising from the Domain Services for a particular Domain in any 12-month period is limited to 100% of the Charges paid or payable to us for that Domain during the preceding 12 months, or £500 if greater.
25.4 The cap in clause 25.3 does not reduce any higher cap or remedy expressly stated in an Order or required by law.
25.5 Each party must take reasonable steps to reduce avoidable loss.
26. Changes to these Terms and Registry Rules
26.1 We may update these Domain Terms for legal, regulatory, Registry, security, technical or operational reasons.
26.2 Mandatory Registry Rule changes apply when the relevant authority makes them effective. Where reasonably practicable, we will update our published terms and notify you of a material change affecting an existing Domain.
26.3 Nominet has announced substantial changes to .UK systems and policies taking effect on 9 February 2027. We may update our processes and these Domain Terms to implement those changes and will provide any notice required by law or contract.
26.4 A Consumer is not bound by a change that the law regards as unfair. A change will not retrospectively remove an accrued statutory right or remedy.
27. Ending our Domain Services
27.1 You may end our management service by transferring or cancelling the Domain, switching off renewal, or giving any notice required by the Order. Ending management does not itself cancel the Domain or create a refund.
27.2 We may stop offering Domain Services for a particular top-level domain or through a particular Supplier. Where reasonably possible, we will give notice and assist with transfer to another available service.
27.3 We may terminate the affected Domain Services for material breach, repeated non-payment, unlawful or abusive use, inability to verify authority or Registration Data, or where a Supplier or authority requires us to do so.
27.4 Termination does not affect accrued rights, unpaid Charges, Registry obligations, dispute processes, confidentiality, data-retention duties or liability provisions intended to survive.
28. Complaints and abuse reports
28.1 Our Complaints Procedure explains how to raise and escalate a service complaint. We will acknowledge customer communications and complaints within the period published there and in any event within the maximum period required by applicable Nominet rules.
28.2 If a .UK Registrant remains dissatisfied after completing our complaints process, the Registrant may ask Nominet to review a complaint within the scope of Nominet’s process.
28.3 A complaint about rights in a Domain may need to be brought under the applicable DRS, UDRP, court or other dispute process rather than our service-complaints process.
28.4 Actionable abuse reports should be submitted to abuse@f13.co.uk with the Domain, nature of the abuse, relevant URLs, evidence and reporter contact details.
29. General
29.1 If a provision is unlawful or unenforceable, it will be treated as modified to the minimum extent necessary or, if that is not possible, deleted. The remainder continues in effect.
29.2 A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver of that right.
29.3 Except for a Registry, sponsoring registrar or authority entitled to enforce its own rules or rights, a person who is not a party to the Agreement has no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce it.
29.4 We may transfer the Agreement as part of a merger, reorganisation, sale of business or transfer of the Domain Services, provided this does not reduce a Consumer’s statutory rights. A Business Customer may not transfer the Agreement without our written consent, not to be unreasonably withheld where the proposed transferee accepts the Agreement and passes reasonable checks.
30. Governing law and courts
30.1 The Agreement is governed by the law of England and Wales.
30.2 For Business Customers, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory Registry dispute process.
30.3 A Consumer resident in another part of the United Kingdom may bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the United Kingdom where the Consumer lives, and nothing in these Domain Terms removes any mandatory consumer protection of the Consumer’s home country.
Schedule 1 – Important .UK terms
This Schedule highlights key points for .UK Domains. It does not replace Nominet’s complete terms and policies.
S1.1 The Registrant has a direct contract with Nominet in addition to the contract with F13. The current Nominet Terms and Conditions of Domain Name Registration are available at https://nominet.uk/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Terms-and-conditions-of-domain-name-registration.pdf.
S1.2 Nominet’s current .UK policy materials, including Rules of Registration and information about policy changes, are available at https://nominet.uk/uk-registry/uk-policy/.
S1.3 Nominet’s .UK Dispute Resolution Service information is available at https://nominet.uk/uk-registry/domain-disputes/.
S1.4 The Registrant must keep correct name, postal address, telephone and email information and respond promptly to requests to confirm or correct it.
S1.5 The Registrant must not infringe another person’s intellectual-property rights, use the Domain unlawfully or provide false Registration Data.
S1.6 Nominet may suspend, cancel, alter, transfer or put a Domain into a special status in circumstances permitted by its terms and policies.
S1.7 The Registrant should contact F13 first about routine registration, renewal, transfer and management requests. Nominet may deal directly with a Registrant in circumstances set out in its rules.
S1.8 Nominet’s systems and policies are scheduled to change on 9 February 2027. The then-current terms and policies will apply from their effective date.
