Website Terms of Use

Last updated: 16 July 2026

These terms govern access to and use of f13.co.uk and any F13 website or webpage that links to them. They apply to visitors using the public website, whether for personal or business purposes.

Important: These Website Terms of Use do not govern the supply of paid services. If you request a quotation, place an Order, use a customer portal or receive services from F13, separate customer and service-specific terms will also apply.

1. About F13

  • This website is operated by F13 Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17045453.
  • Our business and correspondence address is Unit 1, Whittington Moor Business Park, Sheffield Road, Chesterfield, S41 8LF.
  • You can contact us by telephone on +44 (0)114 361 0113 or by email at office@f13.co.uk.

2. Acceptance of these terms

  • By accessing or using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website.
  • If you use the website for or on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to do so and that the organisation will be bound by these terms where applicable.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to submit an enquiry, request a quotation or create an account unless F13 has expressly agreed otherwise.

3. Other terms and policies

  • Our Privacy Notice explains how we use personal information.
  • Our Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on the website.
  • Our Acceptable Use and Abuse Policy applies where you use an F13 service, network, account or facility and may also apply to misuse directed at the website.
  • Customer portals, quotations, Orders and paid services are governed by the applicable customer terms and service-specific documents.
  • If there is a conflict between these Website Terms and the terms of a paid service, the service terms take priority in relation to that service.

4. Website availability and changes

  • We may update, change, suspend or withdraw all or part of the website without notice. We do not guarantee that the website or any content will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.
  • We may restrict access to parts of the website for security, maintenance, operational or legal reasons.
  • We may revise these terms from time to time. The updated version will apply from the date shown at the top of the page. Material changes will not retrospectively alter an existing customer contract unless that contract permits the change.

5. Information on the website

  • Website content is provided for general information and marketing purposes. It is not a substitute for a quotation, contract, wireless survey, network assessment, legal advice, financial advice or other professional advice tailored to your circumstances.
  • Technical articles, estimates, examples, coverage descriptions and performance statements may depend on assumptions, third-party information and site-specific conditions. Results can vary.
  • We take reasonable care when preparing content, but we do not guarantee that all information is complete, current or free from error. Contact F13 before relying on information for a material decision or project.
  • A description of a service on the website is not an offer capable of acceptance unless we expressly state otherwise. The scope, price, timescale and commitments for a service are set out in the applicable quotation or Order.

6. Permitted use

  • You may view the website and download or print reasonable extracts for your personal use or internal business evaluation.
  • You may quote limited extracts where permitted by law, provided that the source is acknowledged and the extract is not misleading or taken out of context.
  • Any other reproduction, publication, distribution, commercial exploitation or systematic extraction requires F13’s prior written permission unless permitted by law.

7. Prohibited use

  • You must not use the website unlawfully, fraudulently or in a way that infringes the rights of another person.
  • You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its hosting environment, accounts, databases, source code, security controls or connected systems.
  • You must not introduce malware, malicious code, harmful data or automated traffic intended to disrupt, degrade, overload, probe or interfere with the website or another user.
  • You must not conduct vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, credential testing or security research against F13 systems without prior written authorisation defining the scope.
  • You must not use bots, scraping tools or automated extraction to copy or republish substantial website content, build a competing database, train a commercial model or circumvent access controls, except where permitted by law or expressly authorised in writing.
  • You must not impersonate F13, falsely suggest an association with F13, misuse our branding or use the website to send unsolicited marketing or abusive communications.

8. Intellectual property

  • Unless stated otherwise, F13 or its licensors own the copyright, database rights, trade marks and other intellectual property rights in the website, its design, software, text, photographs, graphics, videos, documents and other content.
  • F13, the F13 logo and associated branding may not be used without prior written permission, except for accurate nominative reference permitted by law.
  • Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of any intellectual property to you.
  • If you print, copy or download content in breach of these terms, your right to use the website will cease and you must, at our option, return or destroy the unauthorised copies.

9. Enquiries, documents and feedback

  • Information submitted through an enquiry form, email or other website facility must be accurate and must not be unlawful, defamatory, threatening, infringing, confidential to another person without authority, or infected with malicious code.
  • You retain ownership of material you submit. You give F13 a limited right to receive, store, copy and use it as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quotation, assess a project, provide requested support, protect security and comply with legal duties.
  • Do not send highly sensitive information, credentials, private keys or unnecessary personal data through a general website form.
  • Unsolicited ideas or feedback may be used by F13 without an obligation to treat them as confidential or pay compensation, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing before submission.

10. Accounts and portal access

  • Where the website provides account or portal access, you must keep login details secure and must not share them except with an authorised user acting for the same customer.
  • You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless caused by F13’s breach of duty. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access or compromised credentials.
  • We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect the account, the customer, F13 systems, registries, suppliers or other users.
  • Additional portal, service and customer terms may apply and will take priority for account transactions and services.

11. Third-party websites and content

  • The website may contain links to third-party websites, registries, vendors, social platforms or other resources. Links are provided for convenience and do not necessarily amount to endorsement.
  • F13 does not control third-party websites and is not responsible for their availability, content, security, privacy practices or terms.
  • Third-party names, logos and trade marks belong to their respective owners and are used only for identification unless stated otherwise.

12. Linking to the F13 website

  • You may link to publicly accessible pages in a fair and lawful way that does not damage our reputation or suggest an association, approval or endorsement that does not exist.
  • You must not frame the website, reproduce it within another service, obscure ownership information or link from content that is unlawful, misleading or infringing.
  • We may withdraw linking permission where a link is misleading, harmful, technically abusive or otherwise inappropriate.

13. Security and malicious software

  • We take reasonable security measures, but no internet service can be guaranteed completely secure or free from harmful code.
  • You are responsible for using appropriate device, browser, network, password, malware-protection and backup controls.
  • If you discover a suspected security vulnerability affecting F13, report it privately to abuse@f13.co.uk and do not disclose or exploit it before F13 has had a reasonable opportunity to investigate.

14. Liability to business users

  • This section applies where you use the website wholly or mainly for trade, business, craft, professional or organisational purposes.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and its content are provided without warranties, conditions or representations that are not expressly stated in these terms.
  • F13 will not be liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, contracts, anticipated savings, goodwill, reputation, data or business opportunity, or for indirect or consequential loss, arising from use of or inability to use the public website or reliance on its general content.
  • F13 is not responsible for loss caused by third-party websites, unauthorised access outside F13’s reasonable control, or your failure to use appropriate security and backup measures.
  • Nothing excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

15. Liability to Consumers

  • This section applies where you use the website wholly or mainly outside your trade, business, craft or profession.
  • F13 is responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. Loss is foreseeable if it was an obvious consequence or both parties knew it might happen.
  • F13 does not provide the public website for commercial or business use by Consumers and is not responsible for business losses arising from a Consumer’s use of it.
  • Nothing in these terms affects statutory Consumer rights or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

16. Suspension and termination

  • We may block, restrict or terminate your access to the website where you materially breach these terms, create a security risk, misuse F13 systems, infringe rights, or where access must be restricted for legal or regulatory reasons.
  • Clauses concerning intellectual property, liability, governing law and any accrued rights continue after access ends where their nature requires it.

17. Complaints and reports

  • For general enquiries, use office@f13.co.uk or the Contact page.
  • For formal complaints, use complaints@f13.co.uk and follow the Customer Service and Complaints Procedure.
  • For abuse, malware, phishing, spam or security reports, use abuse@f13.co.uk and provide sufficient evidence for investigation.
  • A complaint about a paid service will be considered under the terms and regulatory arrangements applying to that service.

18. General legal provisions

  • If any provision is found unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect and the affected provision will apply to the maximum lawful extent.
  • A delay or failure by F13 to enforce a provision is not a waiver of that provision or any other right.
  • These terms do not give rights to a person who is not a party to them under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
  • These terms and any non-contractual dispute relating to the public website are governed by the law of England and Wales.
  • If you are a Consumer resident in England or Wales, the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a Consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts. Business users agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
